Charging Setup & Safety

Set charging preferences and review available charging data.

Use Owner Home to configure provider pricing and acceptable price limits. VoltEdge uses available information to recommend charging actions; Tesla and your vehicle determine whether a request is available, accepted, or completed.

Configure provider pricing and price limits

1. Open Account & charging settings

Sign in and open Owner Home. Use Account & charging settings to review the Energy provider and Price limits sections.

2. Choose an available energy provider

In Energy provider, select an available provider, enter the required configuration, and save it. The displayed rate depends on provider data being available and current.

3. Set price limits for battery ranges

In Price limits, set the acceptable rate for each displayed battery range and save. Review the selected vehicle's battery level, current rate, and applicable limit in Charging & Savings.

Set limits to suit your electricity plan and charging needs. Rates and charging outcomes vary; example values are not guarantees of savings or charging completion.

Important limitation

Smart Charging is best-effort

Data or provider service may be delayed, incomplete, stale, or unavailable. A request may not be sent, or may be rejected, delayed, or unconfirmed. VoltEdge does not guarantee charging by a particular time or to a particular percentage.

If charging is time-critical, turn Smart Charging off, use Tesla's native charging controls, and verify charging independently.

Wall Connector

Review available site and charger details

In Owner Home, select the Wall Connector to view available connection, power, site, hardware, or tariff information. Fields may show as unavailable when current data is missing.

Your acceptable price limits, consent status, vehicle data, and charging decisions apply only to your own workspace.
