Public product surfaces

VoltEdgeSystem currently offers a public entry page, documentation, contact form, and interactive demo. Authenticated and administrative product surfaces, including API tooling, may require separate access. These surfaces are provided to help users evaluate the product before Tesla account connection.

Public pages do not grant permission to access another person's Tesla account, vehicle, Wall Connector, or charging data.

By using a public product surface, you agree to use it lawfully, provide accurate information, and follow these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Public evaluation does not authorize Tesla account, vehicle, Wall Connector, Energy Site, telemetry, or command processing.

Connected-account use

If you connect a Tesla account, you are responsible for using an account you are authorized to control and for reviewing vehicle selection, charging preferences, and command context before initiating live actions. You must review and accept the complete Mandatory User Authorization Notice before a functional workspace is created or approved Tesla-related processing begins.

Drivers should review the active Tesla, required charge target, and charging preferences before relying on automated charging behavior.

You are responsible for confirming that a connected account, vehicle, charging site, virtual key, and requested command are authorized and correctly selected. Do not use the service to control property or vehicles that you do not have permission to control.

Fleet Telemetry and virtual-key features may be used only for an authorized account and vehicle. Smart Charging requires Fleet Telemetry. The launch command boundary covers exactly vehicle wake-up, charging start, charging stop, Telemetry create, Telemetry setup, and Telemetry update. Fleet Telemetry disable or deconfiguration is a separate withdrawal or deletion operation. Commands are not guaranteed to be available, accepted, completed, or confirmed by Tesla or the vehicle.

Demo and charging safety

The public decision simulator contains illustrative inputs and outputs. It does not represent your vehicle, account, live electricity price, charging state, or a promise that a command will be sent.

Automated charging depends on vehicle availability, Tesla and VoltEdge services, provider data, network connectivity, configured rules, and successful command processing. It may be delayed, paused, unavailable, or produce a different result. VoltEdgeSystem does not guarantee charging completion by a requested time, charging completion to a requested percentage, savings, uninterrupted operation, correct command execution, or safe operation of a vehicle or charging installation.

Follow Tesla, utility, vehicle, and charger instructions. Do not rely on VoltEdge for emergency, life-safety, or sole charging control decisions.

Smart Charging uses the poller-refreshed, workspace-wide live price. If the required workspace price or other required input is missing or stale, no charging decision or charging action is made. A command may be rejected, delayed, unavailable, or unconfirmed. Smart Charging must not be relied upon for emergency, safety-critical, or time-critical charging.

Service availability and changes

Features, supported vehicles, energy providers, routes, integrations, documentation, and response practices may change, be limited by geography or plan, or be withdrawn. Current provider availability is shown in the product. ComEd Hourly Pricing is currently supported; additional providers are future integrations and may differ from roadmap examples.

VoltEdgeSystem is provided without a promise of uninterrupted, error-free, or always-current service. We may suspend access to protect users, vehicles, data, the service, or third parties.
